I haven't had any of the problems that some people wrote about in the 1,2,& 3 star areas.
This computer works well for me. It makes a little noise on start-up, but I consider that normal operating procedure. I bought the display model and I'm sure it has had a lot of hands on it, doing who knows what. I think it's a pretty good computer for the price! $332.99 Sorry you had to pay more,but a display is just as good! :-)

i waited weeks for my order of the slimline to arrive. but the seller let me wait, and then just sent back my money saying they ran out. so im still waiting to get one.

We have encountered some serious problems with this new computer. The computer shuts itself down sometimes while we are using it, the DVD drive cannot do back up, and the device test shows item failure. We have to send it back for repairs.
To be fair, HP's customer service is OK. At least we can speak to real people who seem to be willing to help us although we always have to wait for a long time.
All in all, it is a very disappointing buying experience.
